The primary purpose of Integrity in Service is to educate others about “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” (DaDt) and why it should be changed. It is also my hope you will not only understand how “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” has failed, but that you will be inspired to act and bring about change.

Whether you are active-duty, a reservist, a veteran, or have never served in the military, “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” should matter to you. Please take a closer look at this site and you will learn why it is so important.
Welcome to IntegrityinService.org
Integrity is a way of life. Demonstrated integrity is the basis for dependable, consistent information, decision-making, and delegation of authority.

*A NOTE ABOUT TERMINOLOGY: Throughout this website, when we use the term “gay,” please understand it to mean “gay, lesbian and/or bisexual.” The term “soldier” can be interpreted as “servicemember” or “soldier, sailor, airman and Marine.” I intend no disrespect to lesbians, bisexuals, or the US Navy, US Air Force, or the US Marine Corps. I have condensed these terms to make the site easier to read and less cumbersome for the reader.
